The world changed today
Sunlight casts orange glow
Birds sing subtle lyrics from afar
Wind is absent from its post
Leaves refuse to sway or rustle
The drone of car tires carries
Nothing in nature world moves
Time has frozen in the place
What is known as here
Altered not changed things shift
My views are filtered by unseen light
My ears empty void of morning
As I look about my world I question
Is this dream, a passing phase?
Where did my daily habit go?
Slowly chickadees return
They give back a piece of once normal.
Hauntingly beautiful, Mark!

Thank you my dear. I’m trying a different mail route. It’s from hell! I went to work this morning and the sky had a strange orange color to the clouds. It seemed like an omen
