Your Smile
I selfishly hold on to your smile
I build rooms for memories
Each one a masterpiece
Each one a breath to cling
There’s a fear i’ll miss one
There’s a sense they may stop
Heartbeats pause at their sight
Possibilities dance in their light
Without them I wander aimlessly
Uncertain paths of emotions
Destitution of unknown feelings
Like dawn breaking, hope spills
Enlightenment in sharing
Priceless things, silly things
I await the next smile impatiently
