“Look at it! Clearly it’s one.   Any idiot can tell you.   I don’t know why you can’t see it.”  Bernie points at the seaweed covered mass at their feet.

“You, sir, are an idiot! They don’t exist.   They never existed! The sea rolled up a bunch of garbage and spit it out.” Oliver pushes up his glasses.  And gives his fifty year friend the look.

“Ok explain the green skin. Come on wise one.” Bernie put his right hand on his hip to emphasize the point.

“Algae. Boy that was a tough one.” Oliver retorts.

“And the fin? Horizontal fins are mammals!”
Bernie states.

“Oh, well she is a mermaids then.” Oliver shugs
