i liked the color version but my phone did this edit for me. It has more texture than color

It does look beautiful, but like you, I favor colored photos. B&W are a nice change though.

B & W shows contrast. Color gives warmth & detail. I had a photography class once. We shot in B & W for 3 months & color for a couple weeks

I wonder why you shot in B&W for so long and color only a few weeks??

I like to think we had to see things literally in a different light. It did help you gage how much light makes pictures work. But it was a little tiring because you didn’t tend to look for pretty things but contrasting things instead. I can tell you I was never so happy to take color photos when B & W was offer
