Chill in the air
The distant Sun offers little
Where gentle rays once landed
Barren land shines out
Life hides in shadows
Melancholy day grows long
Waiting for the return of warmth
Maybe tomorrow, today grey rules

Beautiful photo and wonderful poem! I felt the same way yesterday. We had cold wintery weather after having a week of temps in the 70’s.

Yep, it wasn’t pretty. It’s almost cruel to have such nice and then get hit with cold weather. We have several periods of bb-sized hail mixed with rain. Them you my dear🙂

I’m looking for the no humidity part. I’m used to warm and sticky back in Ohio. I didn’t think 90’s will be bad withOut humidity part

You’re right! There is no humidity in the southwest and that makes it so nice! The hot doesn’t seem to be as hot.
