Drifting

Subtle breezes tug at leaves

Green pixies dance and sing

In a hillside they form a choir

Red rock behind them watches

Brilliant blue skies distract the eye

The ears are spellbound in song

Light scents of purple and white drift

Lizards peek out from nooks

They twitch and scramble on

Their flight catches eyes unseen

Nature beckons and time drifts

Subtle breezes tug at leaves
