Tale Weaver #83 – September 1 Changing Seasons

She stares into her mirror.

Red, orange and yellow glitter

They weave a feeling of autumn

The warm glow of color belies change

Senses of family gathering

The harvest coming in to provide a feast

Life shifts to a more peaceful expression

The air stirs a cool touch that catches skin

The clouds become clear and white

Nights show a chiil and shiny stars that sparkle

She knows it’s her time as the day shortens

The season of the witch in waiting

Pumpkins begin to call for their picking

Corn stalks stand barren waiting

Ghosts file in the background

All Hallow’s Eve is a close memory

Season of change has began…
