The sun warmed the prairies surrounding the Greasy Grassy River, the bison entered the valley looking for fresh grazing opportunities. A single scout came down from the ridge hurriedly toward the battle chiefs tipi.
“Tonight, we light up our tents to show our white brothers we are far too many to attack during game the hunt.” Crazy Horse smiles knowing Custer is a dead man.

Historical fiction is fun but involves a little more work. I always aware some one will forget it’s fiction and start fact checking

Sitting Bull, the Lakota leader was away of Custer and his men. Their village was have more tribes joining them for an actual buffalo hunt. Custer thought a small encampment was the whole group. He was outnumbered and certain chiefs had waited for a moment like this. Custer needed an Indian war victory to become President in1880.

Yes. He was the head chief. They had multiple chiefs kind of like chairman of the board.
