Fields of Brambles

I sewed a field
Everything that happened
Buried into in soil
The horrors of human
Every torment, every pain
A collection of scorn
Cast aside to never view
Gentle rains came
Warm sun glowed
The fields came to life
Vines and plants grew
Shapes unseen
Shapes hypnotic
Green had replaced black
Flowers came soon
Big and small
Complex and plain
From a distance I marvelled
One day I ran
To immerse myself
Beauty of my field
Thick with thorns
Choked underneath
Briars filled the Earth
Every wrath had grown
Great care given to what end
Reaping what was once sown.
