The ocean of translucent souls parts. The sight of him, yellow swimming almost heaving the school of silverfish to the side. The rancid tone, spewing cliché after cliché varied elements of hate. A single man stops to raise his mascara covered eye toward the stage.
The bacchanalia feeding on fear goes quiet. A song carries through the crowd. The ears of the yellow one fumble the sound.
“Jose can you see! What the Hell is that?”
“Mondegreen, sir. Hurry while the crowds still agitated.”
I really love your writing in this Mark, it is glorious!

I wanted to use a mondegreen and that was the first one that came to mind. So I needed a character who could make that mistake. But it may mean you humor is slightly twisted.😉
