Peaks rise.
The thin air dances.
Clouds ride winds to caress
Below a world spins
Few dare look up
Less climb

Flat land
Battered areas infested
Monsters tear and poison it.
It’s thick, rusty clings
Darkness lives.

The sky
It calls your name
If you listen,  go high above
Play in the clouds
Raise above

    1. I would be most happy to play Moses and go up on the mountain for forty days leaving the world behind. They are each unique and most tall ones have the mystical sense. I have a mountain in Texas, they can scatter my ashes on. I just need to find someone who can backpack the trip as I get older.ūüėČ
