Thoughts drift.
Time melts in sand.
My hourglass empties.
Swirls of white in white.
Ideas pry at reality
Crowbars break apart wood
Pandora’s box exploded in life.
The sea was so close to swallowing it.
Glitter and confetti
What I thought I knew
It all scatters windward
A teardrop of issues layout.
Winds of change
The tear lifts and falls
The flame burning away
Smoke rises and forms change.
My mind orders.
The box rebuilt of air.
Troubles that got away return
Blueprints only show a buildings insides
This. Is really well done. Makes a person think a lot. The dangerous of Pandora’s box, the dangers the speaker is finding himself in. Well written Mark!

Finding oneself can be dangerous. Especially if you have been hiding a long time. Thanks darling😉

This has a wonderful flow and each line just seems to cradle and hold the next, like a tapestry that is being woven as the piece unfolds. Really wonderful piece too Mark. 🙂
There are so many wonderful lines, but these are my fave:
Glitter and confetti
What I thought I knew
It all scatters windward
A teardrop of issues layout.
What a superb metaphor!

Thank you. I’m in one of those phases where the words are finding me. Of course, chaos is my favorite organizing strategy. 😉
