Hell without a filter my Nikon SLR doesn’t like moon photos.

Neutral density filters help. But I have used sun glasses to cover the lens on cell phone for bright daytime pics. Polarizing filter is a polarizing filter😀

First time using it at night. I even zoomed in a little bit. On my old phone, I never got better than a fuzzy white dot

You have described my current phone Motorola Droid Ultra’s camera result. Superb during daylight but night shots are not good
