Camera Lucida – Nature’s Dessert

Week#4 of the Camera Lucida Photo Challenge. Thus week’s theme: The Nature’s Dessert. Answering the question of what is your fruity juicy?

My choice is more of the liquid type. These people in Kentucky spend years crafting bourbon. Good stuff takes 8 -12 years to age in a charred white oak barrel. Why take short cuts here?

So my fruity juicy flavor would be lime. The little guys sliced in half do just fine. But some days it’s hard to find a good lime. That’s why there’s limeade!

The tartness of a lime is prefect mixer. It’s not over the top lemon, but brings flavor out of liquors. If bourbon (whiskey) is too much that’s always vodka.
